Screenupdating false not working vba
Has anyone experienced this before and found a solution?
I have tried setting screenupdating, displayalerts, displaystatusbar = false but i still get the message and it shows the macro going to the next doc. Are you using office 2007 and when you run the code you are running in debug mode?
I have tried moving the screenupdating, displayalerts, displaystatusbar to different parts of the doc but i still get this. Display Status Bar = False For Each o Story In Current Doc. (that doesn't let you turn off screen updating..least I haven't found a way to do so for debuggin in 2007)Hey Malik thanks for your reply. Text End With Unload frm Title Set frm Title = Nothing Call Update Story Ranges(Active Document) Call Sheet Print Out Application.
Screen Updating = False This is in Shee Print Out() sub procedure. Visible = True You would see that there is an entirely new window.
I'm seeing a lot of posts about issues with Excel 2013 repainting the screen after running a macro but I have not seen a clear resolution to what I have been experiencing.
Like I said in the previous post, please place "Option Explicit" at the top of the module and click Debug-Hi Malik When you say the screen updating works fine for you, do you mean you don't get a message in the status bar saying Word is updating the fields in this document, the document will not look fully opened but the title of the document will appear at the top.
It just sits in memory not doing anything except using up your resources.
Quit End If Set o Rng = Nothing Set o Sheet = Nothing Set o WB = Nothing Set o XL = Nothing o Doc. I am doing this as i wish to put in place a progress bar for when it finds the documents and updates them. Status Bar = "Please wait..." ' or to reset it application. Update But I can't test this code because I don't have everything you do.
Word will open stating the documents name but the document itself will not and that message of updating appears on the statusbar. What is takes into consideration is that the is a file called on the C: Drive and There are form that are in c:\forms\ I want to implement a progress bar for the opening of the formsfranzozola, If it's the Status Bar that is not working, then use: application.
The last statement of the procedure sets Application. Now if I remove the Screen Updating statements from the code then the sheet is displayed correctly and usually in a short period of time.Tags: Adult Dating, affair dating, sex dating
